Passed away on October 04, 2025
            Robert Harold Sandlin Jr. (Bobby or Bubba) left his earthly home on October 4th, 2025 due to complications following surgery.
He was born on October 15th, 1952 in Savannah, GA. After graduating from Jenkins high school he attended Armstrong State College where he earned a degree in accounting. He worked for Prudential Insurance Company for over 10 years and went on to work in accounting positions with other companies including most recently Chatham Orthopedics.
Bobby grew up in Savannah, GA where he developed a strong work ethic and love for family and friends and was known to have strong opinions.
He always enjoyed getting together with family and sharing childhood memories.
Bobby had many passions in life including fishing, boating, water skiing, playing guitar, hunting for sharks teeth, riding motorcycles, and was always ready to have a good time. He always looked forward to meeting with the Betz Creek Boys club on Tuesday nights where he enjoyed time with friends.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Robert Harold Sandlin Sr. and Helen Bacon Sandlin and his beloved daughter Rebecca Ann Summers Sandlin. He is survived by his son Robert Brian Sandlin, grandchildren Ethan Jacob Summers and Cohan Jackson Summers and great grandson Oliver. He is also survived by his sisters Debbie, Jocelyn, and Angie, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
May he rest in peace.
A graveside service will be held for close friends and family at Bonaventure Cemetery at a later date.
Remembrances may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Mighty Eighth Foundation, Inc located in Pooler, GA which supports the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force.
